GRIND Operating System

The one stop ERP for growing businesses

GRIND brings clients, tasks, projects, finance, procurement, HR, suppliers, assets, support and reports into one system — so management sees one truth instead of four tools and a spreadsheet holding them together.

Why it wins

What GRIND does that the alternatives don’t

Most businesses at this size aren’t choosing between GRIND and one competitor. They’re choosing between GRIND and four separate tools plus a spreadsheet. That’s the comparison that matters.

01

One record, followed end to end

A need is raised, approved, quoted, awarded, ordered, delivered, invoiced and paid — and every one of those is the same record in one database. Nothing is exported, re-keyed or reconciled between systems.

Integrated suite, not integrated tools. Two products joined by a nightly sync disagree the moment the sync fails. In GRIND the procurement, the supplier invoice and the ledger entry are the same fact viewed from three screens.

02

Procurement that is governed, not merely recorded

Twelve stages, each naming who answers for it. The rules for which move is legal from which stage live in the database, so an illegal move is refused by the system rather than by convention.

Append-only history. A stage entry cannot be edited or deleted. Before a supplier invoice can be paid it faces a three-way match against the order and the delivery note; paying past a failed match needs a separate permission and a written reason, both recorded.

03

Real double-entry underneath

Invoices and payments post to an actual ledger. A journal that does not balance does not post. The trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet come from the same entries the invoices created, so reports and records cannot drift apart.

Permissions fine enough to be useful. 102 separate keys, not a handful of roles. They resolve live — withdrawing one takes effect on the very next action. Each role carries a data scope: everything, their department, or only their own records.

Annual prepayment is ten months’ money for twelve months’ service. Implementation, data migration and training are scoped and charged once, separately — software that is installed but not moved into is software that gets cancelled.

Implementation

Software is the easy half

Successful transformation needs more than new software: understanding existing workflows, identifying operational gaps, preparing employees and aligning technology with business objectives.

Every GRIND rollout comes with organisational readiness, user training, data migration and a help desk — because the value of the system lies in how well your team moves into it.
